Job description

Join Stryker’s Endoscopy division in San Jose, CA, where you’ll drive meaningful impact on the quality and reliability of life‑enhancing medical devices. In this role, you will help strengthen product performance, reduce non‑conformances, and elevate customer experience. This is an opportunity to help advance manufacturing excellence and play a part in innovations that improve outcomes for patients and clinicians worldwide.

What You Will Do:

  • Lead root cause analysis and corrective actions for production issues, implementing containment, resolution, and prevention strategies that reduce non‑conformances and improve throughput.

  • Evaluate and optimize inspection methods, measurement systems, and fixtures to improve accuracy, repeatability, and compliance with regulatory requirements.

  • Support repair analysis, component issue resolution, and Lean process development across business units to streamline workflows and reduce rework costs.

  • Drive proactive quality improvement initiatives that lower scrap, reduce rework, and improve customer satisfaction metrics.

  • Mentor team members on quality methodologies and technical processes, including SPC, root‑cause problem solving, and Lean principles.

  • Perform risk analysis, CAPA activities, design verification and validation support, and post‑market issue resolution to strengthen product reliability.

  • Design and validate experimental and production fixtures, ensuring alignment with design intent, cost parameters, and project timelines.

  • Analyze process data, financial trends, and customer feedback to identify improvement opportunities and support decision‑making with accurate data integrity

What You Need:

Required

  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering or scientific field.

  • 0+ years of experience required.

Preferred

  • Electrical, Biomedical, Mechanical degree preferred.

  • Foundational understanding of Quality Assurance principles and Quality System Regulations, including ISO 13485.

  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and mechanical GD&T drawings.

  • Foundational skills in electrical and electronic troubleshooting.

$90,400 - 144,200 salary plus bonus eligible + benefits. Individual pay is based on skills, experience, and other relevant factors.
