Job description
Shift: Mon – Fri, 3:30pm – 12:00am, OT Required
What You Will Do:
The Quality Control Lead plays a key role in supporting quality assurance and inspection operations across incoming, in-process, and finished goods. This individual operates with a high degree of independence, leads daily QC priorities, and partners cross-functionally with engineering, production, and warehouse teams to ensure compliance with regulatory and internal quality standards. This role also focuses on training and developing QC team members while driving improvements in inspection processes and procedures.
- Lead and coordinate QC inspections across incoming, in-process, finished goods, and returned products
- Assign and prioritize daily QC activities to meet production and quality timelines
- Perform and support inspections using visual systems and measurement tools (e.g., calipers, gauges, tensile equipment)
- Review inspection documentation for accuracy and compliance with Good Documentation Practices (GDP)
- Partner with engineering to investigate out-of-spec results and initiate NCRs as needed
- Train, coach, and provide day-to-day guidance to QC Inspectors
- Maintain accurate quality records to ensure regulatory and audit readiness
- Support continuous improvement through procedure updates, equipment setup, and process enhancements
What You Need:
Required:
- High School Diploma or GED
- Minimum of 5 (five) years of related QA/QC experience
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and specifications
Preferred:
- Cleanroom experience
- 5+ years of QA/QC experience in a medical device or regulated manufacturing environment
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to lift a maximum of 40lbs repeatedly
- Ability to sit/stand for long periods of time
Pay rate will not be below any applicable local minimum wage rates.
$35.25/hr + $1.50 Shift Premium, plus bonus eligible and benefits.
