Job description
What you will do:
The Production Team Lead (Onsite) will be responsible for leading and managing a team of manufacturing associates including Manufacturing Section/Process Leaders and Operators. This role will set strategic vision and drive systemic improvements related to efficiency, quality, cost, and employee engagement. As a PTL, you will oversee highly technical operations across multiple shifts, directly managing 25–30 employees on first shift while providing leadership and oversight to team leads supporting second and third shifts.
Schedule: Monday – Friday (7am - 3pm with flexibility to work with 2nd and 3rd shifts as needed)
Ability to strategically lead manufacturing group across multiple shifts
Lead, attend, participate and deliver performance metrics review meetings
Able to collaborate cross functionally to drive business/operational results
Escalate issues requiring additional resources to manufacturing leadership
Track progress to manufacturing schedule and take necessary action to ensure supply plan has been met including determining labor requirements and staffing levels daily
Implement process and systemic improvements
Maintain safety procedures and keep area in a clean and orderly condition
Document all safety incidents and observations in SAP system
Directly lead and foster relationships and accountability with 1st shift operations team
What you need:
Required Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree or 6 years of work experience
2 years of leadership experience
Preferred Qualifications
Demonstrated leadership characteristics and capabilities with direct production labor
Previous manufacturing experience
$85,5000 - $142,500salary plus bonus eligible + benefits. Individual pay is based on skills, experience, and other relevant factors.
