The Job’s Mission
At Stryker, we’re looking for a Product Support Specialist – Joint Replacement & Robotics (Mako Robotic-Arm Assisted Surgery System) to join our expanding Orthopaedics team in Southern Italy.
This is a high-impact, hands-on clinical role at the intersection of surgery, innovation, and robotics. You will work directly in the operating room supporting both traditional joint replacement procedures and robotic-assisted surgery using the Mako Robotic-Arm Assisted Surgery System platform, enabling surgeons to deliver more precise, personalised and consistent outcomes for patients.
You will play a critical role in accelerating the adoption of robotic-assisted surgery across Southern Italy, with a strong focus on building clinical confidence, driving procedural excellence, and supporting the expansion of a next-generation surgical ecosystem.

What You Will Do
Provide on-site clinical support in the operating room for both conventional and robotic-assisted joint replacement procedures using Mako Robotic-Arm Assisted Surgery System
Act as a key clinical expert during robotic-enabled procedures, ensuring smooth workflow and surgeon confidence
Deliver hands-on training to surgeons, theatre staff, and wider hospital teams
Support adoption and expansion of robotic surgery programs across your territory
Build strong, trusted relationships with surgeons and hospital stakeholders
Partner closely with Sales and Regional Management to execute territory strategy across Southern Italy
Support product evaluations, clinical trials, and robotic demonstrations in theatre
Organize and deliver workshops, cadaver labs, and structured training programs
Manage consignment stock and theatre inventory with precision and accountability
Identify customer needs and contribute to identifying new growth opportunities
Maintain structured territory planning (daily, weekly, monthly execution discipline)
Minimum Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in a scientific, medical, or technical field
2+ years of experience in healthcare
Experience in orthopaedics strongly preferred
Fluent Italian (C2) and strong English (minimum B2)
High willingness to travel extensively across Southern Italy, including overnights
Preferred Experience
Exposure to orthopaedic implants or joint replacement procedures
Experience in operating room environments (scrub-side or support roles)
Familiarity with robotic-assisted surgery or digital OR technologies (strong advantage)
Experience in regulated environments (e.g., tenders, procurement processes)
Commercial mindset or previous exposure to sales-driven environments
