Join Stryker’s Digital Robotic and Enabling Tech concept development group as a Principal Portfolio Marketing Manager and help drive the future of surgical innovation! Based in Weston, FL, you’ll identify emerging trends and manage innovation initiatives that enhance our competitive edge in robotic-assisted surgery. This role requires strong collaboration, innovation stakeholdering, and problem-solving skills to work across teams, business units, and external partners. What you will do:

  • Uncover and assess emerging opportunities in the robotics space, delivering data-backed insights that drive strategic growth.

  • Actively listen and extract key market trends to fuel innovative robotics solutions and maintain a competitive edge.

  • Partner with Market Insights to design targeted research strategies that answer critical business questions and shape go-to-market plans.

  • Analyze qualitative and quantitative data to uncover actionable intelligence that informs marketing and product strategy.

  • Translate customer feedback into compelling value propositions, ensuring alignment with unmet market needs and future trends.

  • Lead dynamic workshops with key stakeholders (KOLs, DREs, BUs) to synthesize research findings and inspire breakthrough robotics innovations.

  • Develop and execute a visionary strategy that aligns with DRE’s robotics business goals, turning insights into compelling product roadmaps.

  • Communicate and champion strategic initiatives, ensuring cross-functional alignment and buy-in.

  • Provide strategic direction to refine and enhance DRE’s market positioning, leveraging deep industry expertise.

  • Stay ahead of evolving healthcare and robotics market trends, proactively refining strategies to maintain leadership in the space.

  • Spearhead the Concept Development process, guiding innovative robotics solutions from ideation to execution.

  • Work across multiple business units to integrate market insights into their product development and commercialization strategies.

  • Identify strategic gaps and market opportunities, positioning new robotics solutions for maximum impact and adoption.

  • Drive the creation of groundbreaking robotic products that redefine industry standards and align with evolving customer needs.

  • Oversee concept development initiatives across multiple surgical specialties, ensuring alignment with industry demands and customer expectations.

  • Foster relationships with internal teams, startups, research institutions, and industry pioneers to drive robotics innovation.

  • Leverage a diverse network to stay informed on emerging robotics technologies, competitive movements, regulatory landscapes, and evolving business models.

  • Cultivate strong connections with industry leaders and key stakeholders, turning insights into market-leading strategies.

  • Serve as the go-to expert on Stryker’s Mako Enabling Tech business unit, ensuring robotics solutions align with market needs and future opportunities.

What you will need:

Required:

  • Bachelor’s degree required 

  • 8+ years of work experience required 

Preferred:

  • 5+ years marketing/sales experience preferred 

  • Experience in robotics across any industry, including healthcare, med tech, manufacturing, aerospace, imaging, or consumer robotics.

  • MBA preferred
