Job description
As a Portfolio Associate on Stryker’s Upper Extremities Upstream Marketing team, you will help shape the portfolio of the future! You'll conduct market analysis, gather customer insights, track performance, assess trends, and support marketing strategies. Your role will involve researching new markets, understanding product lifecycles, and contributing to commercialization plans. WHAT YOU WILL DO
- Understand the market positioning and strengths of key competitors
- Conduct Voice of Customer (VOC) to identify critical customer needs and preferences towards product development
- Track and report results/KPIs to marketing and sales leadership teams
- Assesses business/sales trends for new product introduction, communicate to key stakeholders responsible for demand planning/production
- Describe the basic offerings of a product line and their primary features
- Support in the construction of the marketing plan with specific analysis and collaborate in the development of key strategic initiatives
- Research and collect product information, service information and marketing literature
- Assist with researching new markets, opportunities and segments to support new product development
- Identify key elements within a new product's Value Proposition that requires evidence
- Understand the appropriate commercialization plans to put in place to earn new customers or expand in current categories
- Support of sales and medical education training initiatives and programs as needed
- Understands a product lifecycle management (PLCM) plan
WHAT YOU NEED
Required:
- Bachelor’s degree
- 0+ years of work experience
Preferred:
- Experience supporting product development initiatives
- Internship experience related to marketing, sales, product development (R&D), and/or healthcare
