Job description

What You Will Do:

  • Lead and supervise payroll operations and team members to ensure accurate, timely payroll processing in compliance with local laws and company policies.

  • Manage end-to-end people processes including onboarding, training, and performance development for payroll team members.

  • Act as the escalation point for complex payroll issues, resolving them independently and efficiently.

  • Oversee payroll compliance with internal policies, regional regulations, and global payroll standards, including timely approvals and audits.

  • Administer employee benefits processing (enrollments, changes, terminations) to ensure accurate payroll deductions and data integrity.

  • Maintain and regularly review payroll process documentation, controls, and narratives to support compliance and audit readiness.

  • Partner with internal teams (HR, Finance, Global Mobility) and external vendors to manage expatriate payroll, benefits administration, and system support.

  • Prepare and deliver payroll-related reports, statutory filings, and data insights to support internal stakeholders and external audits.

What you need

Required

  • Master’s degree in business administration, human resources or equivalent
  • Minimum 2 years of experience leading teams
  • Extensive experience with Polish payroll regulations and processes
  • Fluent in English (written, oral, and speaking)
  • Previous experience in calculating in-house salaries, ensuring compliance and precision.

Preferred

  • Extensive experience in payroll within a matrixed, global environment.
  • Payroll education diploma/certificate.
  • Proven ability to resolve escalated payroll issues independently with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.
  • Experience in maintaining and auditing payroll and benefits records with a focus on accuracy and compliance.
  • Proficiency in reporting, documentation, and maintaining internal controls related to payroll and HR processes.
