Job description

Schedule: Sunday- Wednesday, 4:00am-2:30pm

Summary

Under moderate supervision operates machinery and inspects machined components using precision measuring equipment while keeping accurate production records and maintenance logs.

Summary:

  • Adhere to site specific quality systems and processes.
  • Identify and accurately record scrap, maintenance requests, production documents.
  • Use simple precision measuring equipment to ensure components meet engineering specifications.
  • Understand and execute basic operations and tasks.
  • Able to follow directions both written and oral.
  • Demonstrate machining/mechanical aptitude.
  • Aptitude to learn new responsibilities and tasks.
  • May train others on operational and/or documentation procedures.
  • Operate simple manufacturing equipment.
  • Identify and appropriately report safety concerns, production issues, and documentation errors.
  • Align and follow activities with company initiatives.
  • Assist execution of continuous improvement projects.
  • Report business or behavioral concerns timely and appropriately.
  • Effectively collaborate with peers, functional departments, and visitors of Stryker.
  • Listen and act appropriately regarding constructive feedback.
  • Ask questions and seek direction from leaders, trainers, and peers.
  • Other tasks as assigned.

What you need:

  • High School diploma or equivalent required.
  • Requires 2 years of relevant experience.
  • Must possess excellent organization and communication skills.
     

Preferred Qualifications:

• Sterilization Tech certification or related experience

Physical & Mental Requirements:

• Exerting up to 50 pounds of force occasionally, and/or up to 20 pounds of force constantly to move objects.
• The ability to work with and/or machine small component parts.
• Must have good visual acuity and demonstrate fine motor skills/ability.
• Ability to operate small hand tools (ie: pilers, screwdrivers, hammer, wrenches, etc.) power tools, and common measuring equipment.
• Perform repetitive to frequent tasks using standard procedures and various conventions and/or manual machine tools.


$23.80/hr plus bonus potential and benefits.
