We are currently seeking an Operations Solutions Analyst to work in our Master Data team. This is a 12 month contract role.

Data, if utilized to its full extent can be an extremely valuable asset for Stryker to ensure the correct handling of transactions in JDE and to enable efficiency in Finance, Operations, Sales, Marketing & other divisions who rely on the information collated from JDE for reporting.

The Master Data Team is responsible for the integrity and accuracy of the Master Data in the JDE ERPs. This includes Material, Finance, Supplier, Customer, Employee and Sales Organisation Masters.

Key roles and responsibilities:

  • Managing workflows involving master data creation, maintenance and process improvement within the relevant JDE ERP systems. 

  • Becoming an expert in tools such as SQL writing queries and BI cubes to run reports, to effectively do your role.  

  • Working across LATAM and EEMEA including but limited to Sales, Marketing, Commercial, RA, IT and Operations & Finance teams to determine their requirements and add or make changes to data.

  • Seeking data from the Global Item Master, GIM, Sphere and for information not provided in the GIM or Sphere you may need to go directly to Suppliers and other Global Teams.

  • Becoming an expert of the structure of the JDE ERP and Stryker’s transactional processes and data storage and will help develop, maintain and conduct guidelines for Master Data processes and train other teams when required around data functions to ensure they are accurately maintained.

  • Key areas of accountability: APAC, LATAM, EEMEA

Material Masters:

  • Approving new Item Masters through the MDi process and assist teams having issues with the MDi tool. Audit and update the Item Master and Item Branch Master Data for Purchasable, Non Stock, Reporting and Kit Items ensuring they accurately represent the information provided from Marketing and Suppliers.

  • Updating and maintaining other Item related data such as Item Cross References, Alternative Descriptions, and any supplemental data

  • Lot Master, assist with expiry, sell by and best before date changes where issues have been identified

  • Assisting with Lot Holds both at Lot Master and Item, Lot level

  • Maintaining GTINs, utilising data from Sphere and the GIM where available and direct business input

  • Maintaining Supplier Catalog for Transfer prices, from the GIM for all Stryker items

  • Loading Item Cost, including the landed cost for specified regions and assist with Item Cost issues

  • Adding and maintaining EDI Trading Lanes

  • Kit Items – updating and creating kit items, working towards standardisation and accuracy of all kitting items for sets. Obsolete kit items where required. Ensure Loan Dockets, where applicable, are of high quality to allow easy checking of kits and that they accurately reflect the BOMs in JDE.

  • Preference Management - managing Surgeon and Standard preferences to ensure efficient processing of kit bookings.

  • GS1 – in Entities who publish to GS1 work with the business to update & audit all Item Attribute data for GS1 submission regularly reviewing internal and third party validation reports to correct any errors.

  • Mass uploads – assisting the business with significant data loads, such as planning parameter updates, when required.

Skills, experience & qualifications:

  • Tertiary qualifications are preferred with Information Technology, Data Management, Business Administration, or Finance qualifications. 
  • 4+ years of experience in data management, governance, or related roles, with a proven track record of successfully implementing data strategies and governance frameworks.
  • Proficiency in data management tools, data cataloging software, and data quality tools.
  • Project management experience is a plus.
