Overseeing the region of South Denmark (South Jylland), we are looking for an Associate Clinical Support Specialist for Manual & Robotic-Assisted Surgery!
Stryker’s Mako robot enables surgeons to have a more predictable surgical experience when performing joint replacement surgery – but to use this innovative device, they’d seek your expertise! In this role, with your strong communication skills, you will train the assigned customers and provide them with on-site guidance before and during joint replacement surgical procedures. After an intensive training and onboarding phase including certification, you will work within a highly engaged team that truly cares about making healthcare better by providing best customer product support.

What you will do:
Provide clinical product support to all end users (surgeons, healthcare professionals, nurses) and on-site guidance and assistance during joint replacement surgical procedures with and without the Mako robotics system.
Use proprietary software to prepare pre-operative CT scans for use in Mako surgeries to assist surgeons in preoperative implant planning, implant sizing and positioning.
Provide surgeons and operating room staff with training and Clinical/Technical support in the operation of Stryker's robotic arm applications, associated equipment and instruments to ensure ideal placement and precision. During Mako surgery, your clinical and technical expertise will guide our customers.
Collaborate with Sales Representatives and Marketing to increase public awareness and highlight clinical benefits of the products – and build strong relationships with key surgeons and operating room staff.
Provide feedback on product to improve performance and customer satisfaction.
Additional tasks will include creating case reports, problem solving, monitoring inventory, etc.
What you need:
Required:
You have gained clinical support experience in roles such as nurse, physiotherapist, medical field technician, application specialist, paramedics or related.
Or: You hold a degree within the field of biomechanical/biomedical engineering, medical technology, healthcare, sciences or related.
A strong customer interaction experience is important for you – you place the customer at the heart of everything you do!
Strong communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with all levels of a medical department. Proficiency in Danish and English is required.
High level of stress resistance and demonstrated problem solving skills.
You would describe yourself as very detail-oriented, curious and a fast-learner.
Demonstrated knowledge of administrative/clerical procedures and systems (e.g., word processing, file management and record maintenance).
You posses a valid driver’s license and are highly flexible to travel within the region.
Preferred:
Orthopaedics experience is not mandatory, but it’d be an advantage.

Mako Product Training. To become a certified Mako Product Specialist, you will complete a ~6-month training in English which includes co-travelling, surgery observation in the operating room, presence in our European training sites and a final exam.
