Job description
*This is a hybrid role, with the expectation to be onsite at our Portage (MI) office 2 days/week
As a Medical Education Associate, you will educate and demonstrate the benefits of key products to clinical professors, teaching-hospital faculty, residents, and students. Explores and identifies sites for clinical trial in all stages of development. Coordinates continuing education workshops, seminars, and programs for graduate physicians, pharmacists, and scientists. Responds to unsolicited inquiries to establish and/or further the knowledge and understanding of marketed products and related topics.
What you will do:
- Provides medical information to internal/external health sources such as the sales force, outside health professions, public, and government.
- Explores and identifies sites for clinical trials in all stages of development
- Coordinates continuing education workshops, seminars, and programs for graduate physicians, pharmacists, and scientists
- Marketing/sales/medical education-related event coordination
- Basic product and procedural knowledge
- Gain an understanding of the competitive landscape
- General understanding of key customer groups
- Basic understanding of educational program design
- Strong interpersonal skills, including written and oral communication
- Support the coordination of Medical Education courses and programs
- Basic understanding of how we deliver training
- Gather data and information from Medical Education programs
- Understand our medical education and business strategy
- Understand customer profiles, including why we engage KOL
- Understand training and Medical Education workstreams
- Understand why and how we listen to our customers
- Awareness of internal branding guidelines
- Aware of commonly used internal communication tools
Minimum Qualifications (Required):
- Bachelor’s degree required
Preferred Qualifications (Strongly desired):
- 1+ years of professional experience
- 1+ yerars of medical education or medical device industry experience
- MBA or Master's degree
- Excellent presentation and interpersonal communication skills
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to manage multiple projects while delivering on established timelines
- Ability to be persuasive in the absence of organizational authority
- Must be able to understand and work within complex interdivisional procedures and policies
- Demonstrated proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word & PowerPoint)
United States of America Pay Ranges:
- USN: $59,900 - $83,300 USD Annual
