Job description

As a Medical Education Associate on Stryker’s Craniomaxillofacial team, you will work with our sales force and surgeon consultants to improve patient outcomes through facilitation and planning of world class education events. 

The Medical Education Associate plans and executes educational events within a defined budget, compliance guidelines and other regulations.

Support the planning and execution of local and national medical education programs, including physician trainings, and sales led customer events. Collaborate with marketing, sales, and cross divisionally as needed. 

This role is hybrid in Kalamazoo, MI. This role will require the candidate to be on-site in Kalamazoo, MI with the option of remote work when business allows.

What you will do:

  • Coordinate end-to-end event planning and logistics, including registration, venue management, collateral development, agendas, attendee communications, and post-course surveys and metrics to ensure a seamless customer experience.
  • Manage event operations including setup/takedown, vendor coordination, equipment scheduling, product ordering, shipping.
  • Public speaking, including presenting to sales training and other internal and external audiences.
  • Collaborate with Marketing and other business partners to determine required products and logistics for all events. 
  • Build strong relationships through customer and physician engagement, delivering exceptional support before, during, and after educational events.
  • Continuously develop knowledge of CMF products and procedures, and healthcare industry best practices. 
  • Travel to educational events as needed. Heavier travel takes place on weekends.
  • Must be comfortable working with cadaveric specimen.

What you will need:

Required: 
• Bachelor’s degree required
• 0+ years of work experience required

Preferred:
• Event planning, logistics and/or hospitality experience preferred

• Experience with physician engagement, customer relationship management, and cross-functional collaboration preferred

• Excellent presentation and interpersonal communications skills preferred
• Demonstrated proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word & PowerPoint) preferred


United States of America Pay Ranges:

  • USN: $59,900 - $83,300 USD Annual
