Job description
What will you do:
- Will work with the cross-functional team to design and develop the mechanical part, assembly & system including CAD modeling, detailed drafting/drawing, and documentation.
- Design includes the design of solid parts, machined parts, assemblies, plastic parts, packaging, electro-mechanical components, and accessories.
- Will develop design concepts, conduct feasibility studies, perform evaluations, documentation and perform analysis on designs with the help of cross-functional teams.
What will you need:
Basic Qualifications:
- Expert-level proficiency in SolidWorks: Part Modelling, Assembly Modelling, Configurations
- Experience with SolidWorks PDM or equivalent PLM system preferred
- Strong understanding of GD&T (ASME Y14.5), Tolerance Stack-up Analysis, Engineering Drawings, DFM (Design for Manufacturability), DFA (Design for Assembly), Materials Selection, Manufacturing Processes, Standard Mechanical Components, Manufacturing Knowledge
- Hands on knowledge of Electro-Mechanical Assemblies
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in Medical Devices, Robotics, Industrial Equipment, and other regulated industries.
- Exposure to FEA tools and engineering simulations.
- Experience with Prototype Development and Testing.
- Familiarity with Engineering Change Management (ECO/ECN/ECR).
