- 1st Shift: Mon - Fri, 8am – 4:45pm
- Overtime based on business needs
What you will do
As a Materials Specialist, you will maintain inventory for ProCare. You will handle and maintain flow of materials and products in manufacturing areas according to established guidelines.
- Pick and dock out finished products for allocated orders
- Work with quality and production to manage the process of moving parts and materials throughout the manufacturing plant
- Reports all equipment and process related problems to area supervisor including events and circumstances which would affect product quality, cost, and employee safety
- Works with engineers and technicians to resolve line issues and suggests improvements
- Maintain a computerized inventory system, reconciling discrepancies as required.
- Must be able to proficiently operate a variety of material handling equipment which may include, but not limited to: forklifts, pallet jacks, and dollies.
What you need
Required
- Be able to bend, pick up and lift up to 40 pounds of force occasionally, and/or up to 30 pounds of force frequently, and/or a minimal amount of force constantly to move objects
Preferred
- High School Diploma or GED
- Manufacturing, forklift, order picking experience
- Experience with RFU scanning device; SAP, ERP systems
$28.75 per hour plus bonus eligible + benefits.
Pay rate will not be below any applicable local minimum wage rates.
