You will investigate variances, identify root causes, maintain accurate inventory records, and proactively communicate issues and recommended solutions while also supporting receiving, picking, staging, and other material movements. This role is ideal for someone who is highly detail-oriented, analytical, and comfortable taking ownership of inventory issues with minimal supervision.

  • Investigate inventory discrepancies, perform root cause analysis (RCA) and stock investigations, and proactively recommend or implement corrective actions to prevent recurring issues.
  • Maintain accurate inventory records and audit trails within SAP/EWM and other business systems, including material movements, transfer postings, bin management, and inventory adjustments.
  • Monitor inventory accuracy and related KPIs, identify trends or risks, and communicate inventory health, discrepancies, and recommended actions to leadership and cross-functional partners.
  • Support day-to-day material handling activities, including receiving, put-away, picking, staging, docking, and movement of materials, while following established inventory controls.
  • Partner with Production, Customer Service, Engineering, and warehouse teams to resolve material and inventory issues, prioritize competing needs, and ensure materials are available to support operations.
  • Use Excel and system-generated data to research inventory issues, analyze information, create basic reports, and support data-driven decisions when needed.
  • Follow established quality, FDA, OSHA, and safety requirements while supporting Lean/6S and continuous improvement initiatives focused on inventory accuracy and operational efficiency.

What You Need:

Required:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • 2+ years of experience in inventory control, material handling, warehouse, manufacturing, or a related environment
  • Experience performing cycle counts, physical inventories, inventory reconciliation, or investigating inventory discrepancies
  • Basic computer skills and experience using inventory, warehouse, or ERP systems
  • Ability to stand/walk for extended periods of time
  • Ability to lift, push, and/or pull up to 40 lbs.

Preferred:

  • Experience with SAP and/or Extended Warehouse Management (EWM)
  • Experience with cycle counting, stock investigations, transfer postings, bin management, and/or inventory adjustments
  • Experience performing root cause analysis and resolving inventory discrepancies
  • Working knowledge of Excel, including exporting, organizing, and reviewing inventory data
