What you will do:
As a Material Handler I, you will handle the physical and administrative tasks associated with shipping, receiving, storing, and distributing materials, parts, supplies, and equipment.
Pick, pack, and ship both domestic and international sales orders using a barcode scanner and process packages via FedEx, UPS, and Powership stations.
Verify order accuracy with RF scanners and create, prepare, and print shipping labels.
Package products to meet shipping criteria, adhere to temperature controls where applicable, and ensure the correct items are boxed for customer orders.
Collaborate with quality and production teams to manage the movement of parts and materials throughout the manufacturing plant.
Maintain and reconcile a computerized inventory system to ensure accuracy.
Work with quality technicians and logistics material handlers to ensure correct component identification, traceability, and conduct problem-solving as needed.
Assist with miscellaneous duties and projects as directed, including set-ups, work preparation, clean-up, and quality assurance of work and work area.
Meet work schedule and overtime requirements, including weekends
What you will need:
High School or GED, preferred
Shipping/Receiving and/or Manufacturing Experience, preferred
Ability to exert up to 10-50 pounds regularly and up to 50-75 pounds occasionally
Ability to stoop, kneel, crouch, bend, sit, or stand as needed
Good visual acuity and demonstrated fine motor skills
