Job description
The Marketing Manager for Endoscopy develops and directs marketing programs for a significant product or product category. Compiles and evaluates research on the market's product requirements and identifies enhancements to current features and functionality. Establishes marketing strategies, including product direction, advertising, packaging, pricing, expense budgets, profit plans and future product development, to manage a product or product category's life cycle. Interfaces with engineers, designers, suppliers and customers to develop product requirements and specifications. Prepares and coordinates product introductions and updates.
This role is hybrid out of San Jose, CA. 2-3 days required onsite per week.
What you will do:
• Lead the team responsible for the product or portfolio strategy
• Guide others to deconstruct and extract the strategy from a well-written marketing plan
• Coach others on the market positioning and strengths/weaknesses of key competitors
• Share marketing intelligence and information with team
• Establish pricing strategy, including contract pricing
• Coach others on how to utilize the product or portfolio structure to maximize brand equity
• Demonstrate financial acumen
• Develop an effective KPI strategy for the business
• Supervise others in their use of data collection, analysis, and reporting tools
• Lead a team of professionals: develop employees, which includes hiring, communicating company policies, coaching and counseling, administering performance appraisals, and enforcing company policies through appropriate disciplinary measures
• Promote an environment that fosters personal growth and development
• Hold team accountable to deliver high quality results with passion, energy, and drive to meet business priorities
• Collaborate and influence others on cross-functional teams, advancing partnerships to achieve business objectives
Minimum Qualifications (Required):
• Bachelor’s degree required
• 8+ years of work experience required
Preferred Qualifications (Strongly desired):
• MBA preferred
• 5+ years medical device or marketing/sales experience preferred
• 2+ years of people management experience preferred
*$112,800 - $239,900 salary plus bonus eligible + benefits. Actual minimum and maximum may vary based on location. Individual pay is based on skills, experience, and other relevant factors.*
