Job description

* This role will be on second shift hours Monday - Friday 2:30 pm-11 pm EST*

The Manufacturing Supervisor is responsible for overseeing manufacturing operations and leading a team of production employees in a regulated manufacturing environment. This role supports safety, quality, delivery, cost, and service objectives while ensuring compliance with applicable regulatory and quality standards. The position provides day-to-day direction, training, performance oversight, and workload management for manufacturing personnel while partnering with Quality, Engineering, Supply Chain, and other cross-functional teams.

What You Will Do

  • Lead daily manufacturing operations to achieve safety, quality, delivery, and productivity targets while monitoring work in progress and production performance.

  • Investigate product quality issues and coordinate with Quality Assurance and production teams to identify root causes and implement corrective actions.

  • Direct employee training, work assignments, and performance management activities to ensure required skills, resources, and operational coverage are maintained.

  • Support regulatory and quality compliance by participating in internal and external audits and ensuring adherence to manufacturing procedures and standards.

  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives, including Lean manufacturing activities, waste reduction programs, workplace organization efforts, and cost-reduction projects.

What You Will Need

Required:

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.

  • Minimum 2 years of experience in a manufacturing environment.

  • Minimum 2 years of experience leading, supervising, or managing employees or production teams.

Preferred:

  • Minimum 2 years of experience in the medical device industry.

  • Experience working within Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) regulated environments.

  • Experience with ISO 13485 and/or ISO 9001 quality management systems.

  • Experience implementing Lean manufacturing methodologies and continuous improvement initiatives.

  • Experience using enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems.


USN: $77,700 - $129,500 USD Annual
