What you will do
- Regularly monitor production line progress; solve problems and escalate as needed.
- Monitor project status, and timetables using specialized software applications.
- Coordinate special work activities to ensure that all process and document requirements are being met.
- Assists Training Coordinator with on-going training and development.
- Handles most issues and requests by executing an alternative on own initiative, recommending best alternative to manager or others when issue is complex.
- Assists in the DM process through conducting daily huddles to communicate production plan, opportunities for improvement, and or company news that directly impacts the team.
- Monitor the healthy flow of materials and meeting the cycle time and throughput.
- Support production management in root-cause analysis activities relate to production.
- Participate in leading 6S activities and practical problem-solving exercises.
- Professional presentation and strong interpersonal communications skills.
What you need
- High school diploma or GED required.
- 5 years of related manufacturing experience required.
- Leadership experience required, manufacturing preferred.
