Job description
What you will do:
- Manage and oversee a team of Embedded, Electrical and Software engineers, providing guidance, mentorship, and performance evaluations.
- Develop and implement strategies to drive the efficient development, deployment and management of the Compute and Stream platforms.
- Ensure timely delivery of high-quality Compute & Stream box, with an emphasis on performance, scalability, and security in Time Critical and Regulated environment.
- Review and approve architectural designs, and documentation, ensuring adherence to best practices and company standards.
- Identify areas for improvement and optimization within the Design & Development process, implementing new tools and methodologies as needed.
- Keep up to date with the latest computing platforms and technologies, trends, and best practices, and ensure the team stays current.
- Manage vendor relationships and ensure effective communication between internal teams and external partners.
What you need:
Required
- A minimum of 13+ years of experience in Embedded, Electrical and Software development, with at least 5 years in a managerial / leadership role.
- Educational qualification of BS /MS or equivalent
- Expertise in managing large-scale AI compute clusters, including hardware capacity planning, and cost optimization
- Strong knowledge in analog, digital and power circuit designing and best practices.
- Experience in PCB design & development process and associated tools & functional verification
- Knowledge of Microcontroller, Microprocessor and FPGA based circuits design & development tools & bringing up board
- Deep understanding of AI architectures (deep learning, machine learning algorithms, neural networks)
- Good understanding of Product Security domain and associated tools used in hardware penetration testing.
- Proficiency in programming languages like Python, R, and C++
- Strong board level troubleshooting skills and understanding of hardware-software interaction
- Knowledge of high-performance computing (HPC) systems and distributed computing frameworks (Spark, Hadoop)
- Familiar with Embedded Systems / Products verification / validation
Preferred:
- Hands on with lab equipment like DSO, Logic analyzer, Function generator, etc.
- Understanding of data pipelines and data management practices
- Well versed with writing test plans and test cases document and exposure to test management tools.
- Strong problem-solving, analytical, and critical thinking skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
- Proven track record of managing and delivering large-scale Hardware / Software projects on time and within budget.
- Prior experience in developing solutions for Medical Devices is desirable
