Job description

We are currently looking for an Mako Field Manager to join our team in Auckland, NZ. This team member will partner and assist to lead the Mako Product Specialists and Clinical team in NZ to deliver superior customer support, clinical training, and education.

Responsibilities:

  • Partner with the Regional Manager to learn all aspects of the people management role including hiring, management, engagement and development of the team

  • Manage case coverage and workforce planning for the region/state

  • Manage Clinical Consultant and MPS training plans and systems for all joint replacement products, mako and surgeon demonstrations

  • Coach and support team members to deliver an outstanding customer experience

  • Increase brand awareness of Stryker’s joint replacement product offering

  • Responsible to assist with performance reviews and development plans when needed

  • Maintain up-to-date industry knowledge and competitor awareness across new technology, products etc and make informed recommendations to Sales teams.

  • Ensure consistently high service standards are delivered to both internal and external customers across SSP

Skills & Requirements:

  • 1-2 years in related clinical/marketing/sales/ training/commercial position

  • Exposure to medical environments, particularly hospital theatres

  • Technical expert including Mako product knowledge, knowledge of the medical and hospital industries to provide technical expertise and training to staff and clients

  • Presentation and communication skills to effectively build relationships with surgeons and other key clients, stakeholders, senior members of the community and government and internal colleagues.

  • Proven success managing business relationships
