What you will do

  • Prepares, documents and disburses payroll checks, payroll taxes and employee benefit payments.
  • Prepares reports illustrating payroll expenditures, including such items as tax payments and benefit plan disbursements.
  • Manage and resolve open items related to FONACOT (government-sponsored employee credit program).
  • Oversee the replacement process for employee payroll bank debit cards.
  • Prepare and report weekly operational productivity, including employee attendance hours.
  • Monitors and ensures proper documentation of employee benefit payments. Handle the issuance and replacement of electronic food voucher cards for employees.
  • Provide customer service to employees, addressing inquiries related to taxes, payroll, and benefits.
  • Manage and resolve bank payment rejections related to weekly payroll processing.
  • Support tax audits for Social Security (IMSS) and the Housing Fund (INFONAVIT), ensuring compliance and timely documentation. Address and resolve outstanding tax items from previous years (2022 & 2023), as well as for current periods.
  • Generate and deliver reports for internal clients and stakeholders.

What you need

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting or related fields.
  • +5 years of experience working with Finance and Accounting, focused on Payroll.
  • Work experience in manufacturing industries.
  • Conversational English.
  • SAP Finance and TRESS knowledge.
  • Analytical ability, excellent verbal and written communication and customer service skills.
