Job description
This role will be responsible for supporting the journey for Inventory processes across the divisions, executing monthly activities, booking journal entries, preparing reconciliations, and supporting any request from Local finance.
What you will do
Assist in all financial-related matters related to establishing and scaling the Inventory COE.
Support ERP system configuration, testing, and wave deployments on behalf of the Inventory COE.
Assist in scoping and implementation of required reporting from systems BW.
Support integration projects for business transfers into the COE, including process documentation, inventory cutovers, and ad-hoc analyses and projects.
Prepare journal entries, accruals, and reconciliations for balance sheet accounts and inventory reserves in compliance with GAAP and ensure SAP-generated reports reconcile to the General Ledger.
Lead the annual budgeting process, and monthly financial projections for inventory and reserves, and collaborate on FG supply forecasts and inventory reduction programs.
Ensure adherence to company policies, Sarbanes-Oxley, and financial regulations while supporting the implementation and monitoring of internal controls.
Set standard costs for all products and implement and validate product cost updates, ensuring accurate financial statement impact.
What you need:
Required:
Degree in Accounting or a related field
3-5 years of experience in a finance function in a matrix international company (preferably an American or Multinational company)
Advanced proficiency with Excel
Proficiency with Oracle, SAP S4 Hana, and/or SAP BW
Fluency in English (B2+)
Preferred:
CPA
Knowledge in US GAAP
Experience with Inventory Accounting
