What you will do:
As a Lead Facilities Technician, you will be responsible for maintaining daily operations of the physical facility. Supporting maintenance mechanics and facilities staff by performing “handyman” maintenance duties such as furniture moves, simple electrical projects, spot painting and/or cleaning, light construction, exterior cleanup and more of the following listed below.
- Maintain service level expectations for third-party services and skilled trades
- Maintain general upkeep, maintenance, and operations of the facility and building assets
- Maintain layouts and updates to building plans to meet local, state, and federal codes
- Assist with revisions to facilities related documentation for processes and procedures
- Maintain adherence to Current Good Manufacturing Practice (cGMP) requirements
- Coordinate with key stakeholders to support requests for utilities distribution, equipment installation, and small to medium size retrofits, improvements, and modifications
- Manage outside contractors to ensure work is completed safely and per specifications
- Maintain record-keeping and data entry on procedure forms and spreadsheets
- Meet work schedule and overtime requirements, including weekends and on-call responses during all hours
What you need:
- High School or GED required; Associates degree, Preferred
- Minimum of 5 years' experience required
- Facilities Management Professional (FMP) credential preferred
