Job description

What you will do

The Lead Facilities Specialist (Onsite) is responsible for overseeing the daily operations, maintenance, and improvement of facilities and building systems. This role ensures that the physical environment is safe, efficient, and well-maintained to support business operations. The Lead Facilities Specialist coordinates work schedules, supervises vendors, and acts as the primary point of contact for facility-related issues. 

  • Supervise and support facilities staff, contractors, and vendors in performing maintenance, repairs, and system upkeep

  • Monitor facilities budgets and assist with procurement of maintenance supplies, tools, and service contracts

  • Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations, including OSHA, ADA, fire codes, and environmental standards

  • Conduct routine inspections to identify safety hazards, maintenance issues, and opportunities for facility improvements

  • Lead facility projects, including renovations, office moves, upgrades, and sustainability initiatives

  • Collaborate with Manufacturing, OPEX, and Manufacturing Engineering to plan and implement cleanroom infrastructure changes to support new equipment installations and line reconfigurations, while minimizing disruption to ongoing operations

  • Manage facility systems (HVAC, utilities, compressed air, water, and power), support cleanroom and production areas to ensure continued compliance with quality and regulatory requirements

  • Support equipment installations and layout changes by coordinating construction activities and utility hook-ups across Production, R&D, and Laboratory areas

 What you need

Required Qualifications:

  • ​Bachelor’s degree or 6 years of related work experience

  • 4 years of experience in facilities or operations management

  • Strong knowledge of building systems (HVAC, electrical, plumbing, security, fire/life safety)

  • ​Proficiency with work order systems and basic MS Office applications

  • Experience leading and managing projects

​ ​​​ Preferred Qualifications:

  • Project Management Professional (PMP) certification

  • Experience working in a manufacturing environment

  • Prior people leadership or supervisory experience

89,400.00  - 148,900.00 salary plus bonus eligible + benefits. Individual pay is based on skills, experience, and other relevant factors.
