Job description
Position summary:
The Lead Demand & Supply Planner EEMEA is the primary team member responsible for connecting the demand and forecasting needs of the ProCare EEMEA value stream to the greater Stryker Supply Chain. They will also look to oversee and support the daily functions of the team, set long term targets, and guide the strategic direction of the supply and demand planning responsibilities at a regional level for ProCare EEMEA. Promotes alignment by understanding and communicating customer needs and requirements throughout the organization.
Essential duties & responsibilities:
- Developing & implementing ProCare EEMEA’s Demand and Supply Strategy for Spare Parts, Repair/Replace, Tooling, Loaners, and External Repairs.
- Manage and oversee ProCare EEMEA’s supply and demand planning process
- Lead and Support Continuous Improvement Projects
- Partner with Field Service and Workshop Teams to improve processes and drive efficiencies
- Participate in workshop and field service weekly Huddles
- Collaborate with EEMEA , European and US Operations, Sourcing and Demand Teams to make effective supply chain decisions
- Communicate and Monitor Key Performance Indicators to leadership, as well as other metrics that provide the accurate level of insight to the health of the business
- Continue to develop key Operational Metrics that promote visibility and performance.
- Work with key stakeholders across ProCare EEMEA to identify learning and improvements needs; ensure that the standard of delivery is in line with divisional best practice.
- Partner with Country Dual Hats, Managers and Frontline teams to develop improvement plans and influence change management
- Develop front-line problem solving capability and coach/develop managers on how to develop the talent in their teams, creatively apply coaching tools and techniques.
- SME in Lean Sigma tools and techniques to include: Value stream mapping, 6S and workplace organization, visual management systems, flow manufacturing, pull systems, line balancing, standardized work, PDCA, FMEA,
- Support NPL and EOL activities for initial setup and last time buy
- Maintain strong relationships and communication with US and OEM teams
- May manage directly other employees working in ProCare Supply Chain and offer guidance and mentorship to other Supply Chain employees across EMEA
Education & special trainings:
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Industrial Engineering, Business Administration or related subject.
- Lean / Six Sigma and Supply Chain Certifications preferred
Qualifications & experience:
- Fluent in English
- 4+ years of related experience within supply chain
- Experience in operating within a global, multi-divisional Supply Chain
- Manufacturing management, buying, demand planning, production planning is preferred
- Knowledge of continuous improvement methodologies and cost reduction methodologies
- ERP knowledge preferred.
- Strong Microsoft office skills required, particularly Excel. Power BI is a plus.
- Self-starter, highly motivated, and able to see problems and recommend or take appropriate actions to solve them, ability to work in detail and be result oriented.
- Ability to analyze data and identify potential issues and make solution recommendations
