Job description
As a Lead Data Analyst in Customer Intelligence, you will design and implement advanced data architecture to support Stryker’s Customer Solutions strategy. Focusing on enterprise-wide customer, pricing, and Business Intelligence, you will provide solutions that empower business leaders and sales teams with insights to drive strategy, negotiations, and decision-making. Using tools like Power BI, Databricks, SQL Server, and Excel, your goal is to maximize revenue and margin through contract and pricing strategies. Additionally, you will develop scalable data models, deliver analytics solutions, and build strong relationships with internal teams and customers while providing exceptional support.

What You Will Do
- Partner with the Customer Solutions team to drive increased data literacy and adoption of data-driven insights related to contracts and pricing.
- Support the creation of data-driven tactical & strategic direction to business stakeholders.
- Collaborate with Customer Solutions teams to develop new analytics tools & insights.
- Build Power BI reports and dashboards based on business requirements.
- Translate contract and pricing data into digestible reports and dashboards.
- Investigate reporting issues and provide expertise to resolve and follow-up in a timely manner.
- Monitor report and dashboard usage to enhance value and adoption, work efficiently with large data sets to extract insights, create and modify complex SQL queries for data pulls, and prioritize projects to ensure timely tracking and delivery of requests.
- Contribute to a culture of continuous improvement by identifying and implementing enhancements to existing analytics tools, databases, data collection methods, statistical methods, technology, and training methods.
What You Need
Required:
- Bachelor’s degree in Economics, Computer Information Systems, Business Analytics, Data Science, Business, Accounting, Finance, or related discipline.
- 4+ years in a data related role.
- Experience with Excel, SQL and PowerBI or Tableau.
- Experience with basic data modeling and fundamental core database concepts.
Preferred:
- Master’s degree in Computer Information Systems, Business Analytics, Data Science, Business, Accounting, Finance, or related discipline preferred.
- Experience with Databricks preferred.
- Experience with contracts and pricing preferred.
