What you will do

The Lead Analyst, Transparency plays a crucial role in ensuring Stryker upholds ethical standards and complies with Transparency regulations. This position involves strategic planning, management, and execution of key responsibilities to support the organization's Transparency compliance framework. Key duties include overseeing the dispute resolution process, investigating data discrepancies, and leading initiatives related to U.S. State Report submissions. Additionally, the role ensures the accuracy of CMS submissions through thorough data validation, error correction, and resolution of discrepancies critical for federal reporting. A significant portion of the role involves supporting the collection, remediation, consolidation, and reporting of data across multiple global commercial business units. The position works closely with regional teams to ensure that Transparency policies are applied consistently across all operations, driving compliance both locally and internationally. This includes collaboration with stakeholders in finance, legal, operations, and IT to ensure data is accurately gathered, processed, and reported in line with regulatory and organizational standards.

  • Data Accuracy & Compliance: Oversee CMS Open Payments and state-specific reporting (e.g., Vermont, Connecticut), ensuring accuracy, regulatory compliance, and timely submissions.

  • Dispute Resolution: Investigate and resolve data discrepancies, disputes, and inquiries promptly to maintain reporting integrity.

  • Data Management: Utilize tools like MedPro, Concur, and OnBase to extract, analyze, and remediate data, ensuring alignment with transparency requirements.

  • Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities for efficiency gains, streamlining workflows, and recommending best practices for data management and compliance, the Analyst helps drive organizational excellence in this area. This may include leading or supporting projects aimed at enhancing the accuracy, timeliness, and transparency of internal reporting systems

  • Training & Education: Develop and deliver training materials to equip teams with the knowledge to adhere to transparency regulations and best practices.

  • Risk Mitigation: Lead initiatives to reduce compliance risks, align activities with the U.S. risk mitigation plan, and provide actionable insights through analytics.

  • Stakeholder Collaboration: Collaboration is a key element of this role, as the Analyst serves as a subject matter expert, providing guidance, training, and support to senior leadership and cross-functional teams. Staying informed about regulatory changes and industry trends is also critical, ensuring the organization proactively adapts its policies and practices to maintain compliance. Partner with finance, legal, operations, and IT to ensure consistent application of transparency policies and resolve compliance challenges.

  • Leadership Support: Serve as a subject matter expert, advising leadership on policy improvements, resolving validation issues, and ensuring proactive compliance.

What you need

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree r

  • 4+ years of accounts payable, supplier master, transparency, or related experience

Preferred Qualifications:

  • 3+ years of CMS reporting experience preferred.

  • System knowledge of ERPs (Oracle and SAP), aggregate spend tool (MedPro), and HCP/HCO interactions tool (CAPS/GRT)

  • Accounting experience

$77,200 - $160,800 salary plus bonus eligible + benefits. Actual minimum and maximum may vary based on location. Individual pay is based on skills, experience, and other relevant factors.
