Job description

What You Will Do

As the Lead Analyst, you will support all things inventory as well as be the subject matter expert for fixed asset management. This role will partner closely with GQO business unit leadership as well as the Director of Finance for all financial planning and analysis activities.

Inventory Leadership:

  • Own and manage all activities related to inventory including month end close, budgets/projections, analysis/reporting, balances/transactions, audit/compliance, account reconciliations, and other ad-hoc analysis

  • Manage and provide financial leadership for the annual physical inventory count

  • Leverage tools and technology to build standardized reports and processes for business partners and leadership team

Fixed Asset Leadership:

  • Responsible for managing the end-to-end processes for all in-house and supplier-based fixed assets

  • Partner with operations and project leadership to prioritize and approve capital expenditures as well as own the capital budgeting process

  • Deliver capital reporting and projections to leadership

  • Collaborate with our Costa Rica business partners to ensure compliance and enhance our processes

Business Partnership:

  • Partner closely with Materials, Procurement, and Supply Planning as it relates to site inventory management

  • Host monthly business reviews with key stakeholders providing analysis, trends, and recommendations

  • Build financial reporting tools to support customers as needed

  • Continuously improve processes to ensure both efficiency and effectiveness

What You Need

  • Bachelor's Degree: Required (Finance or Accounting Preferred)

  • 4+ years related industry experience

  • Intermediate level of industry (GAAP/SOX) and operations manufacturing knowledge strongly preferred

You will need to live within commuting distance to our Portage, MI office. You will need to be in the office 2-3 days a week, but you will have the flexibility to work from home on the other days.
