What You Will Do

At Stryker, this role is key to ensuring the proper functioning of medical technologies that directly impact patient care. As a Service Technician, you will work in our Technical Service Center located in Cuautitlán Izcalli, focusing on the diagnosis and corrective maintenance of medical equipment. This is a hands-on opportunity to develop technical skills in a controlled environment, ensuring product quality and reliability.

  • Perform corrective maintenance, diagnostics, and repair of medical equipment within the Technical Service Center, meeting quality standards and turnaround times.

  • Evaluate equipment failures and execute troubleshooting to identify root causes and restore functionality.

  • Utilize technical tools such as multimeters, calibrators, and soldering equipment to perform component-level repairs.

  • Manage equipment intake and dispatch in internal systems, ensuring traceability of repairs and shipments.

  • Prepare technical reports and service documentation in compliance with quality and regulatory standards.

  • Support quotation development based on diagnostic results and scope of repair.

  • Maintain a clean and organized work area while adhering to safety and quality procedures.

  • Collaborate with internal teams to improve service processes and operational efficiency.

What you need:

Required:

  • Technical or university degree in Biomedical, Electronic, Mechanical, Bionic Engineering, or a related field

  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in corrective maintenance or repair of medical or electronic equipment

  • Upper Intermediate level of English

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools such as Excel and Outlook

  • Experience using measurement and diagnostic tools (multimeters, calipers) and performing component-level soldering and repairs

  • Experience working in regulated environments such as medical devices or electronics

  • Valid driver’s license

Preferred:

  • Previous experience in technical service centers or specialized repair of medical devices
