Job description

Overview:

  • Develop, implement, manage and continuously improve strategy for the entire National kitroom operation. 
  • Direct the kitroom operation, which encompasses all aspects of long-term and short-term consignment in relation to; inbound and outbound logistics flows, kit inventory management, kit creation, kit build, kit maintenance, kit lifecycle management and their related processes.
  • Steer the kitroom operation towards improved operational service commitments, as well as the organizations objectives, mission and values.
  • Identify talent and cultivate a culture of talent development and succession planning.
  • Deliver exceptional customer experience to both internal and external customers and stakeholders.
  • Drive continuous improvement, optimization, simplification, efficiency, engagement, productivity and cost effectiveness.

Essential Activities and Responsibilities                     
        
Leadership:

  • Direct reports Team Leaders, Seniors and Representatives
  • Leadership duties coaching, mentoring, empowering, work allocation, resource allocation, change management, quality checks, team motivation, objective setting, performance management, pay decisions and budget responsibilities.


Formal Education

  • Degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business or similar
  • Project Management and/or Finance qualifications would be advantage         


Experience

  • CRM (Sales Force, Goldmine or similar)
  • 3 years of people management experience
  • Experience with 15+ direct reports
  • Planning skills
  • Strong Communication
  • Problem solving
  • Customer Service
  • Workforce planning
  • Data analysis, trends and business intelligence dashboards
  • Value stream mapping
  • Presentation skills required


Office based
Travel Percentage: 40%
