What you will do:

As the Associate Market Research & Strategy Manager you will be responsible for the development of strategic market/product line business plans and marketing programs to support sales in designated market segments.  
• Assesses the impact of competitive dynamics and points of parity / points of difference through competitive analysis
• Selects appropriate investigative or analytical methods to assess a market research project and follows a certain structural research process for conducting market research
• Synthesizes market trends and makes recommendations on sources of volume and strategic focus
• Segments brand equity inputs by customer type to determine how the business is performing in engaging target customer markets
• Holds self and others accountable to deliver high quality results with passion, energy, and drive to meet business priorities
• Collaborates and influences others on cross-functional teams, advancing partnerships to achieve business objectives
• Contributes specific analyses to aid in the construction of the marketing plan: understanding the components of the Stryker marketing strategy framework and how they fit into strategy and marketing plans
• Links insights to key business decisions, writes prescriptive recommendations, and works with the business to ensure that those recommendations are activated

What you need:
• Bachelor's degree required, MBA preferred
• 6+ years of work experience required
• 3+ years market research experience preferred
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Ability to manage multiple projects while delivering on established timelines
• Ability to be persuasive in the absence of organizational authority
• Med device industry experience preferred.

Must be able to work in either Plymouth, Minnesota OR Portage, Michigan 2-3 days a week.
