As an Intercompany Accountant you will perform general accounting activities, including the preparation, maintenance and reconciliation of ledger accounts and financial statements such as balance sheets, profit-and-loss statements and capital expenditure schedules.

What you will do

• Oversee intercompany accounting activities for entities within assigned scope.

• Support month‑end close processes, ensuring timely and accurate completion.

• Investigate and resolve month‑end differences, coordinating with counterparts to maintain clean intercompany balances.

• Process monthly journal entries, including the monthly intercompany netting cycle.

• Perform foreign exchange (FX) revaluation activities.

• Process intercompany AR and AP invoices.

• Prepare balance sheet account reconciliations and manage action plans and follow‑ups.

• Liaise with internal and external auditors, partner with local finance teams, and maintain effective internal controls (SOX).

What you need

Required:

• Minimum Bachelor/HBO in Accounting or equivalent certification

• 2-3 years of experience in accounting (e.g., GL, Intercompany)

• Strong Excel skills and experience in ERP systems

• Fluency in English

Preferred:

• Preferably familiar with US GAAP and Sarbanes Oxley Act (SOX)

• Knowledge of SAP appreciated

• Experience in a multinational company or shared service center is a plus
