Job description

The Integrated Business Planning (IBP) function is a key driving force behind the Planning performance across the company, including demand planning, net requirement plan, intra company order assessment, inventory management and end customer BOs.

You will be the primary contact for multiple stakeholder groups in the APAC region such as Planning, Marketing and Global Quality & Operations (GQO), Finance, etc. and play a key role in driving demand consolidation and supply allocation processes and accuracy among other priorities.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop relationships with key stakeholders in market Operations teams, APAC Marketing team, division IBP teams, etc. and establish proper communication flow.
  • Develop in-depth business understanding of major products and drive the alignment of APAC demand planning with business strategy, product life cycle management etc.
  • Oversee the IBP process including demand planning and NRP.
  • Actively drive the process and data quality improvements and KPIs like demand accuracy, NRP accuracy etc.
  • Participate in relevant meetings and drive the process standardization and maturity in collaboration with central statistical team.
  • Provide monthly analysis and reports for APAC demand and NRP consolidation with focus on major product lines, supply constraint, growth rate in alignment with sales and financial projection and capex/instrument kit planning/execution.
  • Identify business risks and communicate / escalate to key stakeholders accordingly.
  • Develop APAC allocation plans for products with global supply constraints and improve the visibility of supply outlook.
  • Ensure supply continuity by working with divisions and APAC markets.
  • Work with program manager to support APAC or global programs/initiatives and regional/Franchise level process standardization and optimization.
  • Participate in divisional meetings, representing and advocating for APAC business needs to drive global allocation decisions.

Who we are looking for:

  • Minimally a Bachelor's degree in Business/Engineering/Supply Chain management is required.
  • At least 7 years of professional experience gained in global MNCs in Demand & Supply Planning, with at least 4 years of experience in Sales & Operations Planning or IBP.
  • Experience in the Medical Devices / MedTech industry is highly advantageous.
  • Expert Knowledge in Excel / Power BI to analyze large datasets and prior experience with demand and supply planning tools like Oracle Demantra / SAP APO or JDE/Oracle ERP system.
  • Experience in other disciplines like Logistics, Manufacturing, Procurement, Order Management, Inventory Management or Contract Manufacturing, Sales Forecasting & Operations, Market Analyst will be beneficial, while not required.
  • Knowledge of demand management / sales forecasting tools, forecasting processes in sales, marketing operations, finance, manufacturing and supply chain issues.
  • APICS certification is preferred.
  • Proven capability to influence without direct authority and drive results across multiple teams / groups in a matrix organization structure.
