At Stryker South Pacific, we’re committed to making healthcare better.

We’re seeking a customer‑driven Staff Implementation Engineer to lead the deployment of our Vocera communication solutions across hospitals in Australia and New Zealand.

You’ll partner with clinicians, IT teams and internal stakeholders to deliver smooth, high‑impact implementations that enhance communication and patient care.

This role could be based in Melbourne, Sydney or Brisbane, and has a high degree of travel across Australia - up to 60% at times.

What You’ll Do

  • Lead the planning, installation, configuration and validation of Vocera communication systems.

  • Work with clinical teams to understand workflows and turn requirements into scalable system designs.

  • Integrate Vocera with nurse call, patient monitoring, EHRs, phone systems and other hospital technologies.

  • Deliver clear, engaging training to customer IT teams and support staff.

  • Troubleshoot technical issues, optimise system performance and support customers through complex challenges.

  • Communicate proactively with customers, project teams and internal stakeholders.

  • Mentor internal colleagues and contribute to a strong, collaborative team culture.

  • Maintain the highest standards of data security and confidentiality.

What You’ll Bring

  • Degree in Computer Science/IT or equivalent experience.

  • 4+ years in technical support or implementation across Windows & Linux environments.

  • Experience in healthcare highly advantageous

  • Strong networking skills

  • Knowledge of TCP/IP, network security and load balancers highly advantageous

  • Experience integrating nurse call or monitoring systems highly regarded
