Job description

What you will do

As a Part-Time FP&A Analyst you will be a key member of the Instruments Divisional FP&A team supporting our US Shared Divisional Functions (e.g. R&D, Finance, HR, etc.) and providing division level support to our business units.  You will be working directly for the Divisional FP&A finance Sr. Manager, and general responsibilities will include the following:

  • Finance business partnership for the Instruments R&D functions

  • Drive accountability and accuracy in the Instruments R&D financial results and projections

  • Identify and implement key business process changes to improve the R&D projects sales forecasting

  • Develop monthly reporting for the R&D function that is both useful and insightful for R&D leadership

  • Assist the shared service function in its month end close process

  • Assist the Instruments compliance function with respect to account reconciliations and balance sheet reviews as necessary

  • Assist the Instruments FP&A function in developing reporting for month end reporting as needed

  • Key contributor in Division-wide FP&A projects (e.g. Headcount Reporting, Inventory Reporting, etc.)

  • Ad hoc requests from leadership as necessary

What you need

  • Bachelor's degree

You will need to live within commuting distance to our Portage, MI office.
