Finance Manager

Permanent Contract

Hybrid: On Average 2-3 Days Per Week On-Site

Location: Anngrove, Carrigtwohill, Cork

Key Areas of Responsibility:

  • Partner with the site leadership team and the Director Finance – Additive to manage the financial results for Anngrove
  • Lead the compliance activities for the site
  • Manage the monthly/quarterly financials for Anngrove within the timelines set out and provide high-quality financial commentary
  • Provide financial updates for the monthly business unit reviews
  • Lead the product cost setting for all Additive products including annual standards roll
  • Drive cost reduction targets for Anngrove and continuously improve the process and related reporting
  • Provide financial advice and guidance to the leadership teams
  • Manage the weekly financial updates for the Anngrove
  • Responsible for annual budget and quarterly forecasting
  • Coaching and mentoring of finance team members
  • Lead the multi-year strategic plans in partnership with the site leadership team and Director Finance – Additive
  • Co-lead the financial acumen training for all Additive engineers (FAME)
  • Support team leaders in the preparation of CERs that are commercially focused
  • Ensure that adequate internal financial controls exist and are adhered to
  • Lead and participate in cross-functional process improvement initiatives
  • Drive process efficiencies in the Finance area
  • All other duties as assigned

Qualifications Knowledge Skills:

  • A Degree in Accounting or relevant 3rd level qualification is required
  • Hold a recognized professional accounting qualification
  • 5-8 years experience in a Finance position supporting a high-performance manufacturing operation is preferable, together with experience in team building in a multinational environment
  • The successful candidate will be customer-focused and act as a liaison between Finance and Manufacturing
  • Excellent communication, organisation and time management skills with the ability to manage several priorities at once and a high-level of commitment to success
  • Able to build strong relationships and influence across leadership teams
  • High-level of IT competency. The successful candidate must be proficient with Finance ERP and reporting systems, Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint packages
