Profile Summary

As the Finance Manager you will have a broad and dynamic global leadership role that will be assisting in the growth of the company via robust financial analysis, business case development, and coordination of financial investments for Advanced Operations (AO) across Endoscopy and Stryker Sustainability (SSS) Divisions.

What you will do

  • Enable the team to analyze and constructively challenge new product business plans and financial models to identify key value drivers

  • Assist AO teams with robust development of Capital Expense Requests and support the process for achieving efficient approvals

  • Develop & sustain relationships with Finance leaders across multiple selling divisions (Endoscopy & Sustainability) and GQO to deliver set objectives

  • Develop innovative financial metrics for monitoring the objectives and specific achievements related to each new technology, new product and automation initiative

  • Support business due diligence of acquisition and divestiture targets to realize our strategy

  • Collaborate with cost reduction teams to identify and deliver strategic plan objectives for Advanced Operations

  • In consultation with the other management, make recommendations and devise financial policy and strategy for establishing, directing and maintaining the financial and operational procedures to ensure asset protection and profit maximization

  • Provide leadership to finance teams, set high expectations for performance & clear direction

  • Drive margin improvement initiatives on new technologies and new products and own all capital expenditure requests within new platform technologies and new product capital investments as well as cost to market tracking for new products

What you need

  • BBA or BS with an emphasis in finance or accounting, CPA/MBA a plus

  • Minimum 5 years post qualification experience working in a multi-national preferably within an FDA regulated industry

  • A thorough understanding of accounting and financial principals, budgeting, reporting, financial analysis and forecasting

  • High level of strategic financial development and solid business acumen as well as build and execute action plans

  • Working with all disciplines at every level in promoting the development of services, business plans, budget management and cost control

  • Demonstrated record of driving change and improvement and ability to manage teams, multiple projects, adjust priorities as needed, and meet deadlines

  • Ability to build and sustain collaborative relationships at all levels both within the organization and with third parties.

  • Self-directed and ability to influence across the organisation at multiple levels.

  • Must be comfortable in a matrix-management environment.
