Job description

The Field Service Engineer is primarily responsible to maintain professional and profitable repair and preventive maintenance service on Stryker’s products while ensuring compliance with the quality system and manufacturer specifications. Delivers technical assistance at customer sites and provides documentation to internal and external customers. 

Area : Asturias, Castilla y León, Galicia, Cantabria, País Vasco, Navarra.

What you will do

  • Repair and check electronic / mechanical Stryker products

  • Complete annual check and calibration according to MDR on customer site

  • Utilize software and technological tools to maintain proper records, access technical information

  • Assist the regulatory affairs department / customer to action product recalls, field safety notices and field action notices

  • Fulfil Service contracts with planned maintenances

  • Delivery of technical Training to internal & external

  • Perform Installation of Stryker systems on customer site

  • Perform Software & Hardware Upgrades

  • Efficient and thorough documentation of service activities for internal and external reference

  • Ensure traceability of all field-based Stryker products through reporting tools

Your profile:

  • Education in : engineering, electronics or ​equivalent:​ Electrical / Electronic / Telecommunications / Mechanical / Software  
  • Fluency in both spoken and written English and local language 
  • ​Adequate Information Technology knowledge (Office365, ERP & CRM)​​​​
  • ​​​Up to 1 year experience in medical electronics, combined with good mechanical skills.
  • ​Up to 1 year experience in the hospital environment and health care work 

Job Details:

  • Direct territories: Asturias, Castilla y León, Galicia, Cantabria, País Vasco, Navarra.
  • Support in: Rest of Spain.
  • Base location: Asturias or surroundings (the candidate needs to be based in cities with facilities to travel throughout the designated direct territory).
  • Work type: field-based (50% travel)
