What you will do
Are you a proactive problem-solver with a passion for keeping operations running smoothly? Join Stryker as a Facilities Specialist and play a key role in ensuring our facilities operate at their best. In this dynamic role, you’ll oversee daily facility operations, coordinating essential services like the café, mailroom, janitorial services, exterior grounds, and general maintenance. You’ll be the go-to expert for internal moves, furniture setups, repairs, and replacements, ensuring our teams have the space and resources they need to succeed. You'll also manage contractor relationships, support key systems like work order tracking, invoicing, and budget management, and may take on exciting projects across other Stryker locations.
Optimize Facility Operations: Manage work order systems, oversee building maintenance, and coordinate essential services, including café operations, mail services, janitorial duties, and general maintenance
Lead Strategic Projects: Support construction, renovations, and space planning initiatives, using AutoCAD to allocate and manage building space effectively
Master Space Management: Coordinate office moves, furniture repairs, replacements, and setups while collaborating with vendors and contractors for smooth project execution
Deliver Flawless Event Experiences: Support onsite event logistics, managing vendor relationships and ensuring every detail contributes to an engaging workplace experience
Drive Innovation and Efficiency: Assist in acquiring new technologies and equipment, creating and implementing process improvements that enhance operational efficiency
Data-Driven Impact: Develop, update, and maintain monthly metrics, statistics, and reporting, providing key insights that drive strategic decisions
Build Strong Partnerships: Maintain clear communication and effective relationships between cross-functional teams, including facilities, security, and IT, while acting as a liaison with EHS and Workplace Operations
Ensure Compliance and Excellence: Manage invoice processing, vendor documentation, and training records to support audits, all while delivering top-tier customer service
What you need
Required:
Bachelor’s degree or 6 years of work experience
Preferred:
4 years of working knowledge in facility operations, electrical and mechanical systems, health, safety environmental regulations, construction, maintenance, and project management
Experience in maintaining the physical space, ensuring a safe, clean, and functional environment
Proficiency in Microsoft Suite and Power BI
Auto CAD experience
