Job description

3rd Shift: Sunday - Thursday 9:45pm - 6:15am, OT - 2 Saturdays/month

 

What you will do:

  • Responsible for running production on hand welding, robot level 2, set up CNC operator in addition to the responsibilities under Fabricator 3.

  • Conducts inspections in accordance with relevant gage plans with a working knowledge of how to operate calipers and angle gages. 

  • Able to troubleshoot problems that arise with work center and parts. 

  • Responsible for cleaning and preventative maintenance of machine center and compliance with the 6-S schedule.  Perform minor repairs on fabrication cell equipment.

  • Accountable for all record-keeping as appropriate and in accordance with Stryker specifications.

  • Responsible for leading complex projects that will improve fabrication’s processes, change management, and floor placement of equipment.

  • Must be a self-starter with exceptional independent judgement and decision making skills, particularly around problem solving.

  • Understand and articulate continuous improvement in tandem with business needs.

What you need:

Required

  • High School Diploma or GED required.

  • 2+ years of MIG and TIG welding experience required.

Preferred

  • Quality training, including visual inspection of welds, part quality, gage plan completion, and proper part loading.

  • Ability to read and interpret welding blueprints.

  • Ability to use height stands, calipers, micrometers, coordinate measuring systems, and other inspection equipment.

  • Ability to lift/carry 10-50 lbs. frequently, occasionally 50-75 lbs.; perform tasks involving prolonged physical activity; reach, push, or pull as needed.


Pay rate will not be below any applicable local minimum wage rates.
