Job description
What You Will Do
Review, evaluate, and analyze work environments and recommends programs and procedures to control, eliminate, and prevent disease or injury caused by chemical, physical, and biological agents or ergonomic factors. Conducts inspections and enforce adherence to laws and regulations governing the health and safety of individuals. Facilitates environmental and safety training or education programs.
- Ensure compliance with EH&S regulations by implementing and maintaining procedures, training programs, hygiene programs, and safety support teams across all shifts.
- Promote management and frontline employee commitment to EH&S policies through continuous education, communication, and training.
- Conduct and assist in incident investigations, identifying root causes, implementing corrective actions, and reporting findings to management.
- Perform routine EH&S audits, workplace inspections, and sample collection to ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental standards.
- Coordinate safety committees, address raised issues, and recommend measures to eliminate hazardous work methods, materials, or conditions.
- Investigate accidents, workplace health complaints, and facility conditions, collaborating with engineers or physicians on remedial actions.
- Enforce the suspension of activities posing threats to health, safety, or the environment and assist in ensuring adherence to public health regulations.
- Support continuous improvement by evaluating manufacturing operations for EH&S risks and leading initiatives to enhance workplace safety and environmental compliance.
What You Will Need
- B.S. in Renewable Energy, Environmental Engineering or related fields;
- 3-5 years in Environmental, Health & Safety discipline;
- Advanced English is required.
