Job description
This position provides the Co-Op Student, as part of their college studies, the experience of working in a regulated medical device company. KEY AREAS OF RESPONSIBILITY• The Co-Op Student, under supervision, assist Engineers in providing basic design, technical and operational support to manufacturing processes.• Ensure quality of process and product as defined in appropriate OS and Material specifications.• Interface with Operations and Quality Assurance departments to provide customer with a quality product in a timely manner.• Supports Engineers in the Validation, Appraisal and support of process and material suppliers as required.• Communicate and participate in system and process troubleshooting with support team members and with external agents.• Participate in cross-functional process improvement initiatives.• Provides support to the team and department by completing other activities as required.• Ensures compliance with the Quality, Safety and 5S Systems• As a student, effectively adapts to practically working in a work place by being dependable, reliable, punctual, self-motivated, hardworking, organised and a team-player.
