Job description

As the Downstream Marketing Manager - Neptune 3, you will be responsible for defining, developing, and implementing the brand strategy for specific products, product lines, lines of business, or on a company-wide campaign basis. You will apply consumer insights and market intelligence to the process of developing approaches to linking a brand identity to the company and its products. Collaborate with business units, regions, and channels to understand their market needs and link brand positioning to maximize customer loyalty and connection to the product and company.

What you will do:

  • Lead the team responsible for the product or portfolio strategy
  • Guide others to deconstruct and extract the strategy from a well-written marketing plan
  • Coach others on the market positioning and strengths/weaknesses of key competitors
  • Share marketing intelligence and information with the team
  • Establish pricing strategy, including contract pricing
  • Coach others on how to utilize the product or portfolio structure to maximize brand equity
  • Demonstrate financial acumen
  • Develop an effective KPI strategy for the business
  • Supervise others in their use of data collection, analysis, and reporting tools
  • Lead a team of professionals: develop employees, which includes hiring, communicating company policies, coaching and counseling, administering performance appraisals, and enforcing company policies through appropriate disciplinary measures 
  • Promote an environment that fosters personal growth and development
  • Hold team accountable to deliver high-quality results with passion, energy, and drive to meet business priorities
  • Collaborate and influence others on cross-functional teams, advancing partnerships to achieve business objectives

What you need (Required):

  • Bachelor’s degree required
  • 8+ years of work experience required
  • Excellent presentation and interpersonal communication skills
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to manage multiple projects while delivering on established timelines

Preferred:

  • MBA preferred
  • 5+ years of medical device or marketing/sales experience preferred 
  • 2+ years of people management experience preferred

United States of America Pay Range:

  • USN: $118,000 - $196,700 USD Annual
