Job description

Shift: Monday-Friday, 7:00am-3:30pm

As a Distribution Team Lead you will work with the receiving team to ensure our manufacturing teams are provided with the best equipment to produce products that are improving and saving people's lives. The manufacturing, warehouse environment and culture for this role is fast paced. What you will do  

  • Take responsibility for team’s performance in areas of quality, delivery, and production planning
  • Provide leadership and guidance to the team in partnership with supervisor/manager
  • Develop team members and processes through strategy and coaching
  • Coordinate team to bring out the best qualities in team members
  • Coordinate workload with other lead persons and departments to improve efficiency
  • Prepare and issue performance evaluations to employees
  • Maintain company policies, safety rules and keeps work area in a clean and orderly condition
  • Participate in the resolution of manufacturing/distribution forms
  • Meet work schedule and overtime requirements, including weekends

What you need 

  • High School or GED required
  • Associates or Bachelors degree preferred
  • Minimum 5 years’ experience in manufacturing/warehouse or related field, required
  • Shipping/Receiving or logistics background preferred
  • General computer skills and analytical abilities required
  • Demonstrated leadership and interpersonal skills required
