Job description
What you will do –
Assist in overseeing the operation, robotic systems within a high-tech warehouse environment. This role ensures that robotic systems and automated equipment function efficiently and effectively to support warehouse operations, including inventory management, order fulfillment, and shipping processes. Team Member plays a crucial role in ensuring the efficient and accurate operation of warehouse activities.
- Loaner Team Members will perform instrument maintenance and cleaning; receiving, inspection and replenishment of kits; entry, picking, packing and shipping of ordered kits.
- Process Loaners kits to include shipping, receiving, inspection and cleaning and perform various duties and functions within the Distribution Loaners team in support of team goals.
- Will process warehouse transfers, perform cycle counting and any other duties as needed.
- Assist in configuring and programming robotic systems to meet operational requirements.
- Troubleshoot and diagnose issues with robots and other automated systems.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, including storage spaces and workstations while assisting with organizing and managing warehouse layout for optimal efficiency
- Ensure compliance with safety and cleanliness standards, including proper handling of equipment and materials.
- Adhere to all company policies, safety guidelines, and regulatory requirements.
- Report any safety hazards, incidents, or equipment malfunctions to the supervisor immediately.
What you need –
Required –
- 3 + years of relevant experience
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Must be able to lift, push, pull, and carry up to 50 pounds.
- Must have the ability to work very flexible hours, as needed to support the business needs
Preferred –
- Associate’s degree or technical certification in robotics, mechatronics, or a related field
- Knowledge of warehouse operations
- Previous experience working with robotic systems, automation equipment, or in a technical support role in a warehouse or manufacturing environment
- Forklift license
- Ability to perform on-call duties that may require weekend and evening work.
