Job description

Shift: Monday - Friday, 2:00 PM - 10:00 PM

Location: 2 Medicorum Place, Waterdown, ON

Contract end: 08/2025

Summary:

The Distribution Associate I administers and operates the organization's warehouses, including processing, packaging and storage of supplies, materials and equipment. The core responsibilities of a Distribution Associate I include receiving, restocking, picking, packing, and auditing of products. Additionally, the Associate accounts for all materials and supplies in the store’s facilities; audits goods received into warehouse and oversees receipt, storage and shipment of materials, and related reporting in accordance with established procedures. The Associate prepares and coordinates schedules for shipping and receiving materials to control the flow of goods and regulate warehouse space and ensures the effectiveness of operating procedures, space utilization, and maintenance and protection of facilities and equipment.

What You Will Do:

  • Inspect, sort, verify, and receipt incoming goods against packing slips, / invoices, and in accordance with Good Manufacturing Practices and company policies.
  • Pick, pack, and accurately confirm goods prior to shipment.
  • Cycle count inventory.
  • Prepare and maintain accurate records of items received, transferred, and shipped.
  • Report any discrepancies for drugs and natural health products to Quality Assurance.
  • Plan and prioritize work to ensure daily activities are completed on-time.
  • Maintain up-to-date training on departmental and company SOPs.
  • Identify and communicate any required procedural updates based on day-to-day operations.

What You Need:

Required:

  • Secondary School diploma or equivalent

Preferred:

  • Post-Secondary education (Distribution, Supply Chain or Logistics)

Internal applicants with an equivalent combination of education, experience, and performance over time at Stryker will be considered.
