Job description

As a Disbursement Senior Supervisor, you will lead the daily operations of the cash disbursement process, ensuring payments are processed accurately, efficiently, and in full compliance with Stryker policies and all applicable regulations. You will also play a key role in optimizing disbursement practices, strengthening internal controls, and driving continuous improvement across the Procure-to-Pay (P2P) function.

What You Will Do:

  • Lead and develop a team of 8–10 professionals, setting clear goals, priorities, and performance standards.
  • Oversee daily disbursement operations, ensuring payments are processed accurately and on time.
  • Act as subject matter expert (SME) for cash disbursement processes, providing guidance on complex cases.
  • Drive process optimization initiatives to improve efficiency and reduce cost per transaction.
  • Ensure compliance with internal controls, company policies, tax, and regulatory requirements.
  • Partner with business and finance stakeholders to identify risks, trends, and improvement opportunities.
  • Support hiring, training, and professional development to build a high-performing team.
  • Represent the function in internal projects, management meetings, and external interactions as needed.

What You Need:

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Accounting, Finance, or related field.
  • Minimum of 2–4 years of experience in team management.
  • Strong knowledge of US GAAP and familiarity with the Sarbanes-Oxley Act and internal control frameworks.
  • Demonstrated experience with ERP systems such as Oracle or SAP.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Professional accounting certification (CPA or equivalent).
  • Proven ability to lead, motivate, and develop diverse teams.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills with attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to work effectively under pressure.
