Job description

What will you do -

The Depot Technician role is responsible for providing service for repairable and refurbished parts to support the needs of the field. Repairs and replaces fabricated parts and assemblies at workstations, and test boxes, calibrates parts, mechanisms, and complex assemblies to meet tolerances and product specifications. Uses hand tools and power tools to assemble units according to assembly/work instructions. Relies on instructions and pre-established guidelines to perform the functions of the job.

  • Conducts tests of Stryker MAKO Robot systems and components

  • Electro-mechanical components, assemblies, equipment, and machinery such as precision encoders, motors, brakes, instruments, control robots, machines, etc

  • Heavy emphasis on testing and troubleshooting overall robotic systems and components

  • Will assist in the identification of improvements in our technical service bulletins, technical service procedures, quality inspection procedures, and testing

  • Assist manufacturing & service engineers on an as-needed basis.

  • Performs a variety of complicated technical and non-technical tasks

  • Upholds the quality policies of the company & guidelines per work instructions required by FDA regulatory affairs

  • All employees will be managed through a MFG training skill set which will include exams & performance reviews

What you need –

Required -

  • High school diploma, General Education Degree (GED) or equivalent

  • 2+ years of experience

Preferred –

  • Technical or associate’s degree

  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office and programs such as Word, Excel, Outlook, Teams, and PowerPoint

  • Knowledge of Inventory software such as Expandable ERP

  • Knowledge of Trackwise software

  • Knowledge of Windchill OnePLM

  • Knowledge of SAP software
