Job description

What you will do:

  • Programming, maintenance, administration and optimization of measuring programs for CNC-controlled tactile and optical measuring systems (Mitutoyo)

  • Setting up measuring machines/systems and CNC measurements for initial sampling, test projects and feasibility analyse

  • Development of simple devices and special modifications for the test systems to ensure application for the test processes

  • Initiation and supervision of maintenance and calibration measure

  • Process-related training, instruction and support of measuring system operators in handling, set-up and operating activities

  • Support and investigation of process capabilities in the course of process development.

  • Support in the analysis of test strategies, data and measurement sequences for the suitability verification of test methods as well as support in complaint and NC/CAPA investigations to determine optimal test and finishing process parameters

  • Carrying out special CMM inspection tests

  • Documentation, maintenance and archiving of associated quality data in accordance with applicable regulations and guidelines

  • Active participation in continuous improvement  

What do you need:

  • Relevant experience in working with CNC-controlled, tactile and optical measuring systems (Mitutoyo)

  • Several years of experience in the use of measuring systems in production

  • Flexibility, ability to work in a team, high quality awareness and independence

  • Willingness to undergo further training and adapt to new technologies and work processes

  • Good English knowledge
